They are now looking for a talented, self-starting and forward thinking Web Operations Executive who can help continue to keep customers at the heart of everything they do.

Overview of the role

Working within the Web Operations team as part of the wider Online and Business Development department and reporting to the Web Operations Manager, you will focus on the smooth running of the website and our multichannel service offerings.

Your Responsibilities

*Monitor, maintain, and improve the health of the website, digital product catalogue and related internal applications
*Work closely with both internal and external development teams to stay apprised of changes that could affect functionality and site operations processes.
*Work with third party technology partners for support, interactions on solutions, upgrades and implementations.
*Participate in the ongoing processes of investigating, analyzing and providing long term resolutions to technical issues.
*Assist in diagnosing web site code issues and identifying where code can be optimised.
*Co-ordinate third party analysis of application performance across all tiers.
*Facilitate daily operational tasks such as asset movement/tracking, CDN cache control, data movements.
*Assist operation support teams in investigating incidents.
*Practice continual improvement in all aspects of business operations.
*Participate and lead in projects around digital applications and new website functionality

Ideal Candidate

*Retail, Digital or Ecommerce application experience
*A passion and knowledge of a wide range of web technologies, information and data models.
*Ability to follow change management processes, including the use of related tools and related controls.
*Solid understanding of troubleshooting and testing methodology and the passion to constantly learn.
*Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
*Must be an effective communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels.
*Degree educated - business or technical

£25,000 - £35,000
