Job Summary:

Purpose of the Role:

  • To develop and implement Travel Industry Marketing (TIM) plans that achieve the attendance, room night and revenue goals for Walt Disney World (WDW), Disneyland Paris (DLP) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL)

  • To remain externally focussed in travel trade environment and partner marketing requirements

  • To deliver flawless execution to internal stakeholders and external partners, adopting a cohesive approach to promoting the brand portfolio and individual brand servicing focus: WDW 35%; DLP 45% DCL 20%;


  • TIM contact for selected key partners selling either one or all of the Disney Destinations
    International (DDI) brands including Walt Disney World (WDW), Disneyland Paris (DLP) & Disney Cruise Line (DCL).

  • In close conjunction with Disney Account Managers provide feedback on partner marketing plans and implement activity into the market ensuring optimal return against co-op budget and goals

  • With Disney Account Managers ensure all partner creative is adhering to Disney brand guidelines.

  • For partners selling multiple brands, ensure their plans are complementary to each brand and are in sync with key booking periods, with no clashes between brands.

  • In conjunction with Sales Account Managers, provide web content to drive awareness and sales with key partners, and undertake regular website audits to ensure partners are promoting Disney correctly.

  • Work collaboratively with brand managers for WDW, DLP and DCL and Central teams to implement key call to actions, key messaging and customer insights into partner marketing.

  • Continual recording of in-market activity and associated results from partner activity managed, to provide both a historical account and tools to help formulate future plans.

  • Assist with the upkeep of and the verification process

  • Assist on Travel Industry Marketing events and partner conferences/events, from planning, through to designing and printing material.

  • With Support from Disney Account Managers, assist on approving marketing collateral in a timely and accurate manner, for partners that generate a pre-determined level of room nights/ticket sales and for Travel agent training.

  • Organise & manage the annual DLP Call Centre trip to London & Paris to support the product awareness in the call Centre.

  • Assist with the continued launch of Village Nature Paris to the trade plus other marketing areas (TBC) and in close conjunction with Account Managers act as the liaison between the UK team and the Village Nature Team

  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the 3 Brand assets on the parks and resorts asset library ensuring that image rights are managed

  • Manage merchandise distribution for the Sales team where applicable.

  • Involved in and leading ad hoc projects as they arise through the year to assist the TIMs team

  • Manage relationships with external supplies and creative agencies when working together.


Basic Qualifications:

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Large matrix organisation experience preferable

  • Minimum of 1 years marketing experience

  • Demonstrated tactical skills related to implementation of marketing plans and recommending resources necessary for success

  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills to balance marketing programs across three brands for optimal execution and success
