As the Trading Analyst, you will work closely alongside the Head of Trading, driving the company’s trading and business analytics offering, to contribute towards the future growth of the business. The primary focus of the role will be to collaborate with the marketing team, to deliver insights on consumer behaviour, in order to drive sales. Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Trading Analyst:

  • Deliver incremental top and bottom-line growth by understanding the product lifecycle
  • Responsible for the management of product portfolio across all websites
  • Accountable for the continued growth in sales across categories, product profit management, and conversion rate
  • Develop key merchandising reports that deliver key trading insights
  • Management and delivery of all KPI’s across owned channels
  • Carry out SKU per mix analysis in order to feed into a wider project
  • Monitoring of competitor pricing
  • Trend analysis of upcoming customer demand
  • Analyse consumer behaviour to find opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and increasing basket-size
  • Report to the content team on opportunities to improve consistency or opportunities for enhancement
  • Improve marketing efficiencies by driving conversions and growing channels

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Target-driven with a strategic mindset
  • Analytical with natural problem-solving abilities
  • Strong ability to extract hypotheses from data strategies
  • 2 years’ experience working in a similar role in a retail or ecommerce environment
  • In-depth experience in web management
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels, ecommerce and trading
  • Able to use Supermetrics and tag management solutions are desirable
  • Highly analytical with a passion for trading
