Our internationally award-winning client is currently searching for a Trade Marketing Manager to join their busy and expanding team on a long-term contract basis. With at least 3 years' experience in a brand, trade or product role and will have demonstrable experience working closely with several key retailers to drive brand growth in your sector. Using your exceptional interpersonal skills, you will have built and maintained relationships with leading retailers to secure a strong and mutually beneficial partnership to increase brand sales of your products. You will have experience working with both offline and online retailers, and be aware of the key challenges of marketing to both.
As Trade Marketing Manager, your goal will be to increase the market share and drive sales of the brand, working to understand the challenges currently facing retailers and tailoring innovative solutions to combat these issues. Spending much of your time in retail environments, you will develop an innate understanding of what the consumer is looking for and what are the driving factors in their purchase, and will develop targeted strategies accordingly. This is a broad role that encompasses working on new product launches, developing POS materials for retail stores, creating banners for ecommerce retailers, devising tailored promotional activities for each retailer and ensuring consistency in brand communications to consumers. Using your exceptional analytical skills, you will be able to translate key data into spreadsheets and be able to explain the data in terms of key insights to both the business as a whole, and to retailers.
