Due to growth in the UK, they are looking for someone to own the trade marketing function. The main bulk of your role will be developing & implementing trade strategy across the key UK retailers (grocery & convenience), along with activating brand plans and retailer promotions. You will be aiming to achieve best practice in category management, POS and promotional merchandising, whilst liaising with the sales functions to build branded wine sales.
You must have a "get up and go" approach to work - this is an exciting opportunity to come in to a growing business and own a busy function. As you will be visiting customers, you must have a commercial mindset and have a relationship-building attitude. Due to the nature of the position it would be highly beneficial to have experience in the off-trade. Having experience in the Wine sector isn't necessary, though you must be able to demonstrate a passion & desire to work in this space.
