Exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Social Media Strategist to join a multi-award winning creative social media agency. This independent creative agency works with an exciting mix of household name brands in sectors including FMCG, Health & Beauty and Food & Drink. Their clients include leading consumer brands similar to Nivea, Sony, Tampax and Southern Comfort, delivering award winning creative solutions and creating culturally relevant fame moments for their clients. They are growing organically and winning new accounts, including some exciting purpose driven challenger brands within FMCG. The Social Media Strategist will be joining a leading creative social agency with a hugely collaborative, supportive and vibrant team oriented culture. As an agency they place a big emphasis on training and development, with lunch and learn session and progression plans for all employees. About the Social Media Strategist role
The new Social Media Strategist will join as an integral member of the team, reporting into the Strategy & Planning Director and working collaboratively with different teams to deliver strategically led award winning creative work.
Key Responsibilities for the Social Media Strategist:
* Own and manage strategy for creative social briefs
* Critique briefs, both from clients and internal departments
* Use social listening techniques and turn data into insights to drive strategy
* Lead pitch deck writing and work on strategy sections on pitch teams
* Innovate, staying abreast of and being able to leverage new social media behaviours, platforms and tools
You'll be a talented social media strategist, looking to develop your skills and take on more responsibility at an award inning creative social agency.
Skills and experience needed for the Social Media Strategist role:
* Minimum 4 years' experience social media, with strong experience in strategy
* In-house backgrounds will be considered, but agency experience an advantage
* Experience using social media tools to drive strategy
* Ability to think creatively
* Strong collaborator
