Our client is looking for a Social Media Manager to join its Digital team in London. The business has a nationwide challenge on its hand and this role is pivotal to the success of this Government-backed campaign. They are building one of the most talented and creative teams in the country and require an experienced Social Media Manager to join the Marketing function.
You will be a member of an award-winning Digital team, focused on leading the strategy for the social channels with the focus on engaging and informing its audience. You will act as the social expert all briefs and content, working collaboratively with the PR, Advertising and Brand teams to deliver relevant marketing activity. In this role, you will get the opportunity to re-think how the business uses social media channels, responsible for defining the strategy and managing the network of agencies involved. The role will be managing social campaigns from start to finish and tie in closely to company-wide objectives. Another key part of the role is community management, being able to respond and engage with the audience and their comments. Further to this, you will need to be able to measure the success of these campaigns using data and ensuring the business delivers best-in-class results for the investment.
This role will suit a can-do attitude which helps the team to deliver exceptional work. You will be detail orientated and be able to bring a passion for social that keeps you on top of trends and thinking of ways which you can leverage them. Strong stakeholder management skills are a must for this role and the ability to communicate both internally and externally is crucial in being successful in the role. You will need in-depth experience managing and growing a variety of social channels, responsible for understanding these individual channels in detail to be able to engage with the audience in the most appropriate way.
