Headline of the Social Media Executive role

You will be parachute into an agency whilst they recruit on a permanent basis for a Social Media Executive for around 2 - 3 months. However, this role could extend if the recruitment process for the Social Media Executive takes slightly longer.

You will be responsible for creating social calendars, planning social content, community management & assisting in social strategy across a varied roster incorporating:

* Festivals, concerts and large-scale awards
* Entertainment
* Actors, TV and sport personalities
* Charity clients
* All linked to music, entertainment, events and brands

You will be freelancing for one of London's most forward thinking and vibrant PR Agencies, working with a roster of clients that expect great strategic thinking to build their reputations.

You should:

Be up to date with the latest digital technologies
Aware and knowledgeable in current social media trends
Have excellent communication skills
Have an active interest in music, entertainment & popular culture.
Key responsibilities of the Social Media Executive

You will:

* Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
* Assist in creating and implementing social media strategy to align with the client's goals
* Create social media calendars & manage social channels - posting & community management.
* Report on social campaigns
* Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
* Client liaison
* Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
* Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
* Develop social strategy and content calendars
* Drive positive brand reputation and sentiment for the company on social
* Utilise social listening and monitoring tools
* Identify and manage relevant influencers

Other good to have's for the Social Media Executive

* 2-3 years' experience working in social media
* Be comfortable with social reporting metrics & analysing data
* Hands on experience in content management
* Excellent copywriting skills
* Basic understanding of graphic design (not essential)
* Understanding how social media fits into the marketing mix
* Excellent communication skills
* Analytical and multitasking skills
