Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing, this role is responsible for creating world class content both on and off site that delivers against our brand values and the needs of our current and potential customers. You will solely manage the creation and execution of a content marketing plan, working closely with the rest of the digital marketing team to bring campaigns to life and to drive our SEO visibility and revenue growth.
Although this is an English language role, the content you create and data you use to drive the decisions you make will be transferred to our local language sites in France, Germany, Spain and Italy and therefore a global approach and ability to make easily accessible content that's targeted to our community is a must.
A key part of your role will be working with the wider marketing team to bring campaigns from concept through to launch and manage the customer journey throughout those moments in the promotional calendar and beyond. This includes working with our in-house country managers and managing these relationships to ensure all activity is translated on time and to a very high standard, both for the product launches and campaign deliveries and on an ongoing basis.
You will also be required to identify new functionality to help improve the customer experience and performance of the sites. It would be beneficial to have experience of some website projects, an understanding of UX, a higher than average level of common sense and a keen eye for trading and deal making.
A key part of driving content plans on and off site is understanding the website performance. You will use web analytics tools, SEM Rush, Search Console and work with the marketing team to monitor SEO SERP performance, engagement metrics on site and on social and direct and referral traffic performance in order to identify opportunities & successes in UK and EU.
This role requires a strong creative flair, a really great understanding of nutrition and exercise, a passion for fitness and a real ability to think outside of the box when it comes to user experience and what creatives world class, unbeatable, unique content.
*Be a central and compelling advocate of the brand and target market at all times, and in all activation.
*Drive brand storytelling opportunities that elevate the brand in key energy industries, locations and events.
*Increase brand footprint within the UK & Europe by creating integrated comms and events with marketing, creating high-profile brand collaborations and driving relationships with key complementary partners.
*Provide cross-functional leadership across Marketing, Retail and Brand teams for key initiatives making sure that the Sports, Energy and Influence is delivered at key events, presentations and in campaigns.
*Drive and deepen connections with the influencer community at ALL levels in the matrix through grass roots initiatives, product launches, collaborations, takeovers and consumer events, leveraging concepts to drive engagement, brand influence and reach.
*Drive key PR relationships within the sports industry leveraging relationships and trade-offs for full gain in standard PR features, Awards & articles that overtly push the brand working with their Brand Manager to cultivate reoccurring features and placements outside of event and partnership coverage.
*Drive our Search visibility through delivering backlinks, handling technical SEO, on site and off site content for the brand that both build on existing relationships (reoccurring relevancy) and build new media partners out of sector (Charities, Universities', Governing Bodies etc) that have complementary authority, using key strategic products and NPD launches, events and brand campaigns as leverage, igniting the story telling of the brand where possible.
*Drive the growth of a loyal customers by cultivating our community on all social platforms by using cutting edge innovations, new media, one on one conversations, live streams, video content, and activation of reoccurring programmes that have longevity.
*Completely own and drive the concept of a blog area on the site that is dedicated to event write ups, announcements, details, celebrity interviews, partnerships, sporting interviews and creates a forum that attracts influencers from different types of media to share stories, info and guidance that help ignite the Brand story and drive repeat engagement and brand authority.
*To be conscious of accountable for and supportive of the rest of the business in driving targeted YoY Growth and Revenue in all regions.
*At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
