This is a very exciting opportunity to join a highly creative, full-service marketing agency as a Senior Social Media Executive / Creative Content Writer. This is a brand-new role where you'll be a key part of the social media team here, so you must have a genuine love of social media marketing and be an expert at producing engaging content.
The key responsibility is the creation of resonant, engaging and effective social media posts for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. You will also be monitoring and proactively engaging with communities on the different social channels, supporting insights/reporting on activity and developing the creative process. You'll be working across a number of major consumer brands, so proven B2C experience is essential.
You should be very passionate about social media, full of ideas and opinions, always up to date with the latest trends and its future possibilities. You should be able to demonstrate at least 2 years' experience in a similar social content creation role and show off your ability to write well and produce original ideas.
A sense of humour is essential!
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*At least 2 years' experience in a similar social content creation / management role.
*Marketing experience working for consumer or lifestyle brand within a digital or social media space
*Ability to implement the strategic social media marketing plan on a daily basis.
*Ability to manage and develop image and asset bank for social media.
*Manage the community across platforms ensuring brand reputation and customer services objectives are met
*Ensure timely responses to social media queries across all client channels.
*Ability to switch between different tonality to suit clients.
*Broad understanding of various brands' use of social media including best practice examples
*Steer social media strategy and manage social media budget
*Ability to work with general software packages such Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*Understanding of the principles of marketing communications, branding and social media
*Ability to use basic social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Tweetdeck
*Proactive and creative ability to work on concepts and generating new ideas
*Ability to embody the brand in the social space and build relationships with key people
*Strong written English and grammar
*Highly numerate and comfortable with basic data tasks
*Experience of using Facebook, Twitter, Google and YouTube's commercial applications
If you've also got experience using data analytics tools such as Synthesio/Crimson Hexagon/Sysomos etc that would be a bonus, but not essential as training will be provided.
