Our UK and Ireland Diagnostics business, headquartered in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, provides the industry’s broadest range of diagnostics and monitoring products and services, spanning all sectors of the market: from small hand held devices used directly by patients or healthcare professionals, to large diagnostic instruments found in hospital laboratories.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Service & Consultancy, and working closely with specialists from across our business, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers maximise the commercial benefit of their investments in diagnostic solutions, whether in the Lab, at Point of Care or throughout the Patient Pathway.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional with B2B Marketing experience to help define, implement, market and deliver our Service & Consultancy portfolios in the UK and Irish markets. Although having scientific or medical knowledge could be advantageous, it is not essential for success in this role.
You will have a proven track record in working in a customer facing role. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver marketing and/or consultancy/or change management within a large blue chip organisation.
You will have excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to network and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for delivering key projects and may have experience in developing and executing change management plans, as well as client engagement and project management.
Your strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills will enable you to translate and communicate concepts into easy to understand tools. As this is a customer facing role, you will have the ability and gravitas to engage with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as briefing and managing suppliers.
Using all the resources at your disposal, you will deliver key work streams and projects engaging stakeholders at all levels. You will be expected to build enduring high quality relationships with customer teams and will be measured upon our customer’s satisfaction, as well as upon the quality of our marketing activities.

You are a degree educated, flexible, hardworking and highly motivated individual with an inquiring mind, who is always asking questions and thinking ahead for the next question that needs answering. In addition a marketing and /or change management qualification would be desirable.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of OJEU tender processes and experience in completing tenders. Experience of working with the NHS, DoH or HSE would be desirable.
You will have a strong blue chip services marketing pedigree, while experience in the Consultancy, Professional Services and/or Capital Equipment markets would be desirable.
You are someone who will be seen as a credible business partner in a highly complex cross-functional environment, as well as relishing the opportunity to build strong relationships with peers and key internal stakeholders.
