My client is looking for a new Senior Designer to join their lively in-house creative team due to company success and growth. This role sits alongside other designers, a photographer, retoucher, creative copywriter and head of design. The role is based in Hemel Hempstead, with a fast-growing consumer led e-commerce business.
The ideal candidate:
We're looking for a creative and confident Senior Designer, with experience working in-house or agency-side, and proven line management responsibilities to more junior members of the team.
Our ideal candidate will have some FMCG experience, ideally an e-commerce background, and there are extra brownie points for those who've worked with Amazon, eBay or Shopify. Print and production processes, as well as artworking best practice, will stand you in good stead for this role.
We're looking for impeccable skills with Adobe CC, excellent knowledge of visual design theory, a confident presenter, a team player, an organised and efficient individual with a positive can-do attitude.
The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing print and digital designs across the company's different brands. Working closely with the Head of Design and wider Creative Team, this role will lead brand identity development, day-to-day graphic design and manage visuals outcomes produced by the team.
You will support and manage less experienced members of the team, sharing knowledge, technical skills, and best practice. You'll jump in to art direct and oversee photoshoots, use your experience of creative problem solving to develop exciting concepts into refined, compelling design solutions, and push design possibilities forwards, always eager to develop and learn new skills along the way.
A successful e-commerce company operating out of a modern open-plan office space in Hemel Hempstead; independently owned and fast-growing, they're investing heavily in bringing the right people on board to achieve optimum success. With global sales through multiple online platforms, they're edging more into the retail sphere too. This is a company that never sleeps. Agile and people-orientated, they have passion in what they do, and have fun while they do it.
What you'll get in return:
30 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Discretionary early finish Fridays
Snacks & coffee
Free on-site parking
