Aecom is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Clients & Marketing Assistant to join us in Transit, Aviation and Water. The role will work across EMEA engaging with staff throughout the business, across different teams and sectors. 

Our strategic marketing team brings together the combined expertise of our global marketing and communications community to promote AECOM’s world-leading expertise and collaborative innovation to all key stakeholders. We focus on the creative, smart and strategic use of marketing to strengthen client relationships, understand and respond to their needs , help grow the business and address today’s industry issues.

Reporting to the Senior Clients & Marketing Manager, you will be an instrumental part of our marketing team. You will support the entire client lifecycle, from gathering industry and client intelligence to aid strategy, through to rolling out client focused campaigns and measuring success. 

The role is very much hands-on and fast paced and we are seeking a candidate with previous B2B experience and a team-focused attitude. You’ll be responsible for understanding and creating engaging content, from social media, email marketing through to web content and thought leadership – always ensuring that our communication and content is on brand.  

Other responsibilities of the role will include: 

·      Creating content and management particularly across social media channels

·      Conducting market research to inform marketing plans

·      Developing tactical marketing activities and campaigns using multi-channel tools including events, thought leadership, digital, marketing collateral and media relations

·      Gathering and utilising intelligence from our CRM system

·      Developing ideas and content for the internal communications team 

You will work collaboratively across the business, so good communication and influencing skills are essential.  The successful candidate will have B2B marketing experience, ideally in professional services. A formal marketing qualification (e.g. CIM) and or a degree would be ideal but if you’re working towards one, we’d love to help you on your journey.
