Are you looking to develop your Business Development skills and utilise your Life Science degree?

A Global, Pharmaceutical Market Research Agency, are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive, to join their thriving business! You would sit within a growing team of Business Developers and will be responsible for building a pipeline of new business opportunities and following up leads from Marketing Campaigns, to drive sales across international markets. You will be setting meetings and appointments with prospective clients, for your senior team members. The role encompasses both a commercial and scientific element and would suit a driven candidate, with prior business development experience, in a professional service, market research or consultancy environment.

The Role:

- Prospecting, cold calling and qualifying potential customers
- Setting up face to face meetings and teleconference meetings, with potential clients, for business development
- As well as being responsible for Lead Generation on campaigns and appointment setting, you will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the contact information on the CRM system
- Support the Marketing Team with Email and Marketing Campaigns
- Creating and tailoring credentials presentations, to fit prospective client's requests

The Candidate:

- Having studied a Life Science Degree, you will familiar with the Pharmaceutical environment to help you hit the ground running
- Your previous experience of B2B sales, will enable you to have an insight into the role and how to approach new clients
- Knowledge of LinkedIn and other social media tools, will help you with sourcing and contacting potential clients
- The ability to be able to prioritise and meet deadlines will help you work smoothly within the team and hit your targets
- Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbally, will enable you to articulate yourself when dealing with Senior staff members and Key account holders
- Your innante commerciality and curiosity will ensure that you are maximising on business opportunities and raise your profile in the business
