Senior Brand Manager, Essex - 

This is a brand-new role for one of the UK’s most established food and ingredients businesses. The role constitutes an opportunity to join an exceptionally employee and customer centric company… and one that holds both innovation and heritage at its very core.

Due to continued growth in market share, this exciting opportunity has become available for a brand centric marketer to join this leading FMCG business. Already incredibly highly thought of in their field... they have recently grown their product portfolio with fantastic results and now require ambitious talent to continue driving the business forward on a brand perspective.

To clarify, in order to be considered for this role you must have considerable experience from within another food business and FMCG. Ideally you will have managed a brand, or a portfolio of products previously before and with a few years of experience of this under your belt already.

Reporting to the senior management you will lead on branded products from concept to launch, acting as the focal point of contact between the commercial function and how that product in positioned, both in terms of look and ‘feel’. With exemplary customer awareness, you will be the expert voice on brand and positioning for within retail and products being sold on a B2B capacity into the leisure trade. They’re looking for experience within strategic development, some budget management, planning and activation and finally some international experience if possible, but this isn’t essential!

The business is ‘going places’ so you will have to have an analytical way of thinking and interpreting product data, but will also be willing to share ideas and come up with concepts as to how to do things differently moving forwards.

They’ve been operating a long time, and as such they really do hold a lot of weight in the marketplace already.

Due to the location of the company’s office, this role is commutable to those living in Essex, out into Hertfordshire and potentially Suffolk also. The main catchment area for people commuting from this role will be Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend, Braintree, Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Romford, Basildon, Cheshunt and Eastern parts of London.
