As Senior Brand Manager you will be a custodian and ambassador for the UK branded portfolio. Reporting the Head of Sales & Marketing you will be involved with the development and implementation of the UK marketing strategy to drive sales and profitability. You will be responsible for the 1 Year Brand Plan and will input into the 3 Year strategic plan. A key objective is to increase consumer awareness and drive advocacy from relevant influencers. As such, development of a new digital marketing platform with social media is a critical success factor for the key brands. You will develop and implement the PR strategy to support brand plans with both the trade and consumers, including the online digital communications strategy. Working with the external sales team you will develop and implement an annual trade promotion plan, identifying shortfalls and opportunities. A keen commercial awareness is a must as you will be responsible for managing the marketing budget, helping to achieve the company sales and profit targets.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working with consumer brands, preferably healthcare, personal care or food. You will be operating at Brand Manager level or above with experience of leading the development of annual brand planning, digital marketing, NPD, trade marketing and budget management. You will be a positive, solutions focused individual with a can do attitude and most importantly a good sense of humour!
