Our customer is at the heart of everything we do. We know everyone says it but in this role, you’ll provide the end-to-end insight so we can prove it. As our new Research Manager, you’ll design and carry out customer insight research which resonates with our business vision.
It will be your job to take all our lovely customer data and translate it into money. You’ll not be doing the research, (you’ll commission agencies to do this for you) but you’ll live and breathe the results. It will become your focus in life - well perhaps not fully -but enough for you to make stakeholders within the business listen and change the way we work and think about our Online and Retail customers. You may not get the response you want at first, but you’re one of life’s triers so you’ll come up with new and inventive ways to be heard.
A customer experience expert, you’ll have a strong background in customer insights. You’ll be able to look at data and interpret what it’s telling you, making recommendations for the benefit of the business. Not only will you provide suggestions, you’ll feed them into key teams - helping them to formulate and evolve their customer strategy. As you’ll be working with research agencies you’ll need to have had experience of this from a previous role too.
In your line of work you’ll know how important ruthless attention to detail is, as well as finely-tuned project management skills. An understanding of the gambling industry would help you, as would an interest in sport.
