Project Manager Job
Bespoke Retainment Group is delighted to be working with one of Manchester’s leading, fully integrated marketing agencies to recruit a Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PM to join an award winning and growing agency based in Manchester City Centre and to be a major part of the team.
Role description:
The Project Manager will report to the Head of Digital and has responsibility for:
Working with the Head of Digital and relevant Account Director to deliver digital products in ways that provide the highest possible quality of product and service to the client working within the constraints of time and budget.(If agreed with the Head of Digital and the Account Director the Digital Project Manager will become the first point of contact for the client once a project/commission has been confirmed. NB It is the Account Manager’s responsibility to confirm to the Digital Project Manager and to the client, in writing, that this is the preferred
communication route.)
Recoverability – Ensuring all jobs within the digital department are monitored (time vs budget vs hours billed) in order to deliver against department targets. This includes liaising with internal stakeholders and the finance and client services teams
Departmental procedures – the Project Manager should be the gatekeeper and facilitator of the agreed department procedures process, to ensure we have the correct documentation and can evidence our adherence for all projects
Resource Planning – Utilising the resource pool and where necessary identifying bottlenecks and booking additional resource
Scheduling – Ensuring that the work scheduled is produced on time and to budget. If there is any chance that these objectives will not be achieved it is the responsibility of the Project Manager to communicate this to the Head of Digital, Account Manager and client at the earliest possible opportunity
Quality Assurance – Liaising with the Head of Digital and Account Managers to ensure that digital products are fit for purpose, and provide the correct functionality to meet job briefs and specifications
Estimation – Ensuring that the correct team members have been consulted in order to provide robust estimation and costings for projects and campaign work
Accountability – ensuring that Project Management time is logged as a service to clients and recorded against jobs (aiding recoverability)
Reporting – regular and strong communication/reporting with the internal teams and clients/stakeholders. (Production meetings, status reports, internal procedures)
Efficiency – identifying where the project teams need to improve by running project evaluation sessions
Training – Wherever possible or requested by the Head of Digital, training other members of the team in our existing procedures and systems
