My client, an extremely successful and fast growing, challenger bank, is seeking an individual to report in to the head of personal loans. You'll be responsible for creating and owning the product performance, pricing, marketing budget and ensuring performance meets budgeted plans. This is a key role in developing the strategic direction of the lending business.
Working across both D2C and white labelled personal loans, you will play a key role in managing the commercial, product, marketing and digital elements of the portfolio. You will define and execute the commercial optimisation strategy for the portfolio, developing, harmonising, retiring and rationalising specific products to optimise profitability and mitigate risk. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business' overall service is well articulated and diverse, maximising coverage of consumer and customer needs.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate transferable business experience, ideally in a debt, or other financial services product. Due to engagement with multiple senior-level stakeholders, it will be crucial that you can demonstrate your previous experience influencing and persuading at the top level. Any experience in an affinity business model would be highly advantageous.
