What you'll be doing
This is a key role within the business. You will lead the NPD pipeline, communicating the strategy from concept to launch. Managing a line of own label products, you will work closely with the sales and marketing team to define product strategies for key range reviews and help deliver sales and margin targets.
You will be the main conduit between the International head office and the UK office, communicating the parent company NPD to the UK business. You will provide customer and category support for retail and foodservice customers, attend meetings and present product concepts.
Closely monitoring competitor and retailer activity will provide you insight in to the market and help guide the product development, alongside your food and consumer trend analysis.
What experience you'll need to apply
- Proven experience within a Product Management role
- A background in FMCG
- Experience working with trade channels and retailers
- Highly numerate and analytical
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to travel to Europe
- A passion for food
