PR & Communications Specialist – Software – Manchester - £35,000 - £40,000

Are you an innovative PR professional who wants to work in a progressive business? Our client based in Salford who also operate globally, are looking to bring in a PR & Communications Specialist to manage internal and external communications with the support of an existing agency.

Our client is a specialist software business that has already made a number of hires this year as a result of business growth and are showing no signs of slowing down. Alongside their current PR agency, you will strategise and manage internal communications across the business. Working with the management team to ensure clear messaging and innovative content.

Main role and responsibilities of the PR & Communications specialist:

  • Manage and implement PR initiatives alongside the team internally as well as the agency
  • Strategise and implement internal communications across the business
  • Create content for a mixture of communication channels including; events and media
  • Support cultural change and operation developments when needed
  • Be creative in multi-media communications; features, blogs, video, social
  • Focus on the details, reporting feedback and progress to ensure constant improvements
  • Work closely with departments to ensure high-quality output and PR activity

Key Skills of the PR & Communications specialist:

  • Be proactive and motivated to work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment
  • Great Stakeholder management
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, to creatively deliver key messaging
  • Strong technical communications skills across various channels
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with the wider team
  • Great communication strategising skills – with the ability to collate feedback and develop marketing PR plans
  • The ability to manage events effectively. From inception to delivery
