Carter Murray is working with a leading Science and tech firm to hire a PR and Communications Manager. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role will involve developing and delivering a PR and communications strategy that will line up with the company's ambitious growth plan. Based in Oxfordshire, the role will suit an experienced PR Manager that has previously aligned the communications activity with a business's key objectives

The role will involve;

  • Developing and implementing PR and Communications initiatives and campaigns, whilst tracking success
  • Managing all press engagement and activities for the business
  • Creating collateral, press releases and content, both online and off line
  • Helping to build the profile and reputation of the business on a regional and national level
  • Creating speaker opportunities for key figures of the business to comment on current affairs, whether it be TV, social media, trade press or newspaper

The candidate will;

  • Solid experience working in a PR / Communications role
  • Previous experience working in a science/tech related environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ideally graduated to a degree level or equivalent
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and working with public or government organisations
