PR & Communications Account Manager
Remote with 2 visits per week to Oxfordshire Head Office

We are an innovative, forward thinking Oxfordshire based public relations company to the property and development sector and are seeking a talented PR Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
We specialise in complex planning and development projects for developers and landowners, including three FTSE 100 firms – helping them deliver their strategic development programmes and achieve their growth targets.
The PR Account Manager Opportunity:
This exciting opportunity would involve dealing with complex and often contentious issues to help support our clients’ development projects through the planning system.
We are looking for a creative, team playing, imaginative self-starter with experience in politics, development and planning and stakeholder engagement. We have a collaborative culture and are searching for a candidate who would thrive in this environment.
This role include would include management of junior members of staff and offers exceptional prospects. We offer a supportive environment, ongoing training including training programmes tailored for each member of staff and excellent career progression opportunities.
The successful candidate can work remotely and flexibly but would be required to come to our Oxfordshire office on at least one to two days a week, once restrictions are relaxed.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
+ Devising and overseeing the implementation of coordinated public affairs strategies
+ Day to day management of projects and client accounts
+ Overseeing the preparation of persuasive communications material including stakeholder briefings, media releases, consultation content
+ Confident handling of dialogue with the client, development team and stakeholders
+ Incorporating social media into engagement strategies and the execution of such strategies
+ Management of project budgets, including preparation, forecasting and spend
+ Management and mentoring of junior team members
Essential skills and qualities for the role include:
+ Proven track record in PR
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills
+ Experience of working in stakeholder engagement (ideally within the property development and planning industry)
+ Experience of coordinating and delivering effective communications strategies (including the use of social media) to support development proposals
+ An interest in and understanding of local and national politics
+ A good understanding of the planning process
+ The ability build and foster relationships with key influencers
+ An eye for detail!
+ A full, valid driving licence and access to a car
+ Holds a CIPR qualification (desirable but not essential)
