Background of this Freelance Account Director / Associate Director role
With two major UK client launches occurring in January, my client is seeking additional support to come into their business for an initial eight-week period, but also with a possible extension.
This is an immediate need and the right candidate will need to be free for both January and February as you help support and advise two major clients planning launches, with one client already investing over £1,000,000 in pre-planning alone.
About the role of the Freelance Account Director / Associate Director
The right candidate can come from either an Account Director or Associate Director level, but the key is for the right candidate to be someone who can demonstrate confidence to the clients through the strong work you will be carrying out. Keeping calm is key for this interim Freelance Account Director / Associate Director and your confident, calm demeanour must be evident to the end clients as they go through the final stages and launch two massive entertainment project bids.
Key skills of the ideal Account Director / Associate Director:

* Good corporate planning
* Good strong experience of media relations
* Strategic mindset
* Goal oriented
You will need to be Public Relations focussed, rather than Public Affairs, but ability to think across both is very important.
Additional information for the role of the ideal Corporate Communications professional
Both end clients are seeking to secure and launch two separate major build projects and you will be working very closely with the owner and the MD of my client, but with additional help from other members of the team.
In short, the brief is really for someone to undertake the corporate affairs side of things for the end clients. There will be media launches to arrange for both companies with January being the busiest period for them, especially for one end client as they launch their planning in mid/late January.
The other client is ahead in terms of process, but both will need someone who is confident on Press Relations and getting Media hits/sell in's etc. Also key is experience of launches and handling media relations including broadcasting.
This is an important freelance contract as these are two very high spending clients for the agency with projects to match.
