What is the role?

We have a brand new opportunity for a highly skilled individual to join our marketing team in the role of Partnership Marketing Manager. In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing campaigns and marketing communications for our commercial and non-commercial partners. You will work closely alongside the Sponsorship and Partnership teams to deliver creative ideas that drive commercial growth for the Club whilst attracting new links and raising the Southampton Football Club brand.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience working in a marketing/partnerships role with proven experience in delivering and implementing marketing strategy and campaigns. You will have strong project management skills and be able to communicate well with stakeholders across all levels of the business and ensure a successful working relationships both within SFC and externally. 

Essential Experience:
• Extensive experience working in a Marketing/Partnerships role.
• Experience operating at Marketing Manager level driving, challenging, delivering and being accountable for multiple projects across departments. 
• Implementation of Marketing Strategy and Campaigns that has enabled commercial growth and better customer experience.
• Experience working in a Partnership or Agency role. 
• Experience and understanding of using Persona’s to grow Commercial revenue.
• Experience writing and presenting reports for Senior Management.
• Staff Management experience.

Essential Qualifications incl. certifications:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

Essential Skills
• Strong project management capabilities. 
• Knowledge of the market. 
• Knowledge of the pros/cons of existing solutions. 
• Awareness of the practical implications of implementing ones of these solutions and ability to drive the process. 
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills. 
• Strong commercial acumen and comfortable working with numbers, able to understand and empathise across sales, service and marketing. 
• Ability to prioritise a significant and demanding workload and project.
