Job Description

Paid Social Manager, Cambridge -

A really rare and sought-after opportunity has arisen to join one of the local landscape's success story agencies best in the west of Cambridge!

This role represents an opportunity to be a part of a group of people who have built a rapidly growing commercial outfit, within the digital marketing and social media space, working with the best and biggest brand names out there.

The company is fast becoming seen as the 'hot spot' for talented social media experts to be in Cambridgeshire, and they're typically seen as a business with a mature and very positive way of treating their staff and clients.

Along with countless awards for the work they do for their clients, and they're recognised by global brands as the agency as choice for everything to do with social and paid media.

The Paid Social Manager role will manage P&L, strategy and business goals for client activity across a number of accounts. The accounts in questions will be really high profile, and many of them will be B2B based, but they'll consider any relevant paid media background of two year plus.

The ability to work at base level with Account Executives, whilst 'getting your hands dirty' is really preferable, as the role holder will be client facing and exposure to the workings and 'nuts and bolts' of the accounts is really integral.

Core elements to this position will be:

  • Drive forward the paid social strategies
  • Development of the client digital channels through paid social and search
  • Technical liaison with the internal team to maximise the output for their clients
  • Management of the P&L, and development of the company methods of achieving success
  • Maximise the ROI on each and every account for the business
  • Preparation and delivery of client updates and evaluations

The company is ideally searching for someone with a minimum of two years' experience of working on paid social, and ideally from within the B2B or agency world.

The role reports to the AD's and the head of the agency… and because of this the chosen candidate must have a good level of commercial awareness, ability to liaise at all levels both internally and with clients, and lots of gravitas.

In return for your hard work with some of the globes biggest brands, you'll be able to make the most of their fully catered for lunches, flexible working policies and working from home options… which are all very rare to see in the agency world! These guys have a business built on trust, and you'll be treated like an adult and able to work in a way which benefits both yourself and your client list.

Due to the location of their West Cambridgeshire office, which is entirely almost traffic free this role could be of interest to those living in Newmarket, Cambridge, Bedford, Huntingdon, St Ives, Royston, Cambourne, Melbourne, Duxford, St Neots and Letchworth.
