This start up is the UK's #1 subscription club for gin; founded in 2015 and winning investment from the BBC's Dragon's Den in 2016 the company is going from strength to strength.
The Business Development Manager will be a crucial member of the team, responsible for nurturing existing relationships and developing new partnerships with great new products from the food and drinks industry.
You will manage relationships from initial contact all the way through to proposal and sign off, giving you real ownership. You will work with clients putting together the most appropriate media package campaign for them which could be via social media/experiential/digital etc.
As the BD Manager you'll secure client meetings, present and pitch with the aim of partnering with innovative new products which align with the gin club.
You will need to have gravitas and ideally a passion for the work this start-up does. It goes without saying you'll be persuasive (but not salesy) and be an excellent communicator. There's as much about educating new clients about the club as there is signing them up.
You won't be afraid of picking up the phone to help win new business.
It is essential that you have previous FMCG experience with partnership/media sales or media planning experience.
