You will assist with planning, creating, managing and delivering the organisation’s varied global marketing activities and campaigns to grow brand awareness. With a creative eye and attention to detail you will be instrumental in the presentation of our brand through marketing materials and campaigns.

You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly.  Being an excellent communicator is essential as is the ability to manage a busy workload and multiple projects at one time. 

You will be working with many internal and external teams so building good relationships is an essential part of this role. You will be able to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team, as well as individually to develop your own projects and thrive in a very busy environment.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Planning, creating, briefing and delivering a wide range of marketing materials including print, digital, outdoor, exhibitions

  • Responsibility for distribution of marketing material and arranging reorders as needed

  • Writing exciting copy and content for marketing collateral, including brochures, leaflets, e-shots and web content

  • Assisting Marketing Specialist in planning and creating marketing campaigns, utilising the full marketing mix and working with the organisation’s Communications team to deliver them

  • Creating and developing new and innovative ways to communicate the organisation to existing customers and engage new customers

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across the Commission to promote success of activities and enhance the organisation’s profile

  • Working closely with internal and external design agencies ensuring delivery deadlines are met

  • Creating and developing promotional ideas to increase brand awareness

  • Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met

  • Ongoing analysis and reporting of marketing activity of other stakeholders in remembrance including charities, museums, travel companies etc.

  • Plan, develop and deliver marketing campaigns as agreed within timescales

  • Planning and project managing marketing events and evaluating their success

  • Supporting the Marketing Specialist in day to day marketing activities
