Marketing Manager – Fintech
Swindon SN6 | £35,000 – £40,000 + Benefits
We are a highly successful UK-based Fintech Software vendor focused on cloud-based Invoice-to-Cash Accounts Receivable suite that enables them to automate processes, reduce costs and improve cash collection efficiencies resulting in increased cash flow.
Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, we are looking for a B2B content marketing/digital content manager with an audience-first mindset who will be responsible for growing the brand through creating compelling and strategic content, designing and managing campaigns and expanding our relationships with media and analysts.
The role encompasses creation and management of the following:
+ Support the development of an in-depth content strategy, including buyer persona research and creation, competitor analysis, SEO and Keyword research, market research and google analytics to support each stage of the buying journey
+ Content topic research to write original content that aligns with our brand and tone of voice, including long and short form blog posts, eBooks, Whitepapers, Press Releases, Case Studies, Infographics, presentations, sales collateral, video and podcast scripts, webinars, to be distributed across multiple marketing channels
+ Creation and management of all online and offline content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver to direct sales and customer retention. This will include demand generation and nurture campaigns as well as supporting sales in prospecting sequences
+ Creation of sales supporting collateral for the business development, sales and customer success teams
+ Excellent copywriting ability, able to write original, engaging copy on a range of topics.
+ Proven design capability for brochures, literature, sales collateral etc
+ Collaboration across functions to deliver an effective content plan and editorial plan
+ The creation of content that our audience is looking for using intent and keyword mapping to then optimise the path to conversion
+ Create and maintain relationships with trade publications, industry organisations and figure heads within the credit control marketplace including press and analysts
+ Develop and maintain brand, Value Proposition, messaging, and corporate identity
+ Familiarity with SEO and keyword research methods (preferably with the use of buyer intent data)
+ Proven experience in researching market issues and developing a phased content plan for conversion along a buying cycle
+ Familiarity with Google Analytics and reporting
+ Experience writing for a c-suite audience
+ Graphic design capabilities
+ Understanding of the three phases of intent along a buying cycle and how to write a theme across all three stages
+ Experience in designing, executing and optimising demand generation and nurture campaigns
Qualifications and traits:
+ BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field
+ 3+ Years in marketing content/copywriting role
+ Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail: ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in parallel.
+ Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
