Job Description

Major Players are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager for a 3-6 month Fixed Term Contract.

The right person will ideally come from a corporate or charity background and have strong experience with corporate collateral - mainly print.

Scope of role

1 Lead in the creation of new communication materials (digital and printed collateral) to promote the company to new audiences and improve engagement with existing supporters.

2 Design and develop content which will support different departmental goals, working collaboratively to scope need and developing plans for delivery.

3 Work collaboratively with the Communications & PR Manager, assisting them with managing the internal service requirements and liaising with key external partners in regard to projects or partnerships if required.

Specific tasks

1 Work with the Director of Communications to develop a plan for new copy and content and lead in the creation of materials (i.e. developing a brief, writing copy and advising on design requirements). 2

Advise colleagues on messaging approach to ensure that the company's communications support strategic messages and build brand equity.

3 Assist with drafting of communications for external use, working with colleagues to define need and then drafting messaging accordingly.

4 Support the Events team with marketing plans for commercial events, developing relevant communications to develop profile and support ticket sales.

5 Assist with the developing of copy for a range of communications; from press releases to content required for corporate presentations.

6 Assist with the planning and implementation of communication campaigns.

7 Ensure that all communications which are developed positively support the charity's visual identity and effectively communicate the impact the company makes.

8 Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Director of Communications.
