Marketing Manager, Cambridge -
Do you have an interest in health, wellness and nutrition? Do you want to be a part of a business that helps to improve people's health? Are you a quick thinking, ambitious consumer marketer?
We're working with this client for the 4th time this year, this time on a Marketing Manager role. When we say this is a marketing driven business, nearly a third of the team are marketers. They have big budgets and big plans, which you could be a part of. You will manage a multimillion pound budget, lead fully integrated campaigns and improve ROI - all the while being backed by a business that puts their money where their mouth is and values marketing as an integral part of their business model.
This team has a real sense of comradery and work collaboratively together to achieve their end goal, and the business holds integrity and transparency at its core. Team meetings involve a lot of laughter, so you'll definitely need to be down to earth.
What does the role involve and how does it fit into the wider business?
You'll provide clear direction to the marketing team, leading a multichannel marketing plan and will work cross-functionally to implement the marketing strategy. You'll need to be a natural story teller, with the ability to create engaging content for a variety of channels, including managing their press advertising. Working in a highly regulated industry means you'll need to catch curve balls, and be highly creative working with red tape. A problem-solving and thinking outside the box mentality will serve you well in this job.
You'll be reporting directly to the CMO and acting as their right hand in the team. Ideally, you'll have some prior mentoring or line management experience yourself as you'll be managing a Marketing Executive and overseeing their development, but they're also open to candidates looking to take a step up into this kind of role.
You'll need to be able to work collaboratively with the wider marketing team, but can also get stuck in and work independently where needed.
