Role Purpose

The Marketing Business Partner will assist in the implementation of the go-to-market strategy across the service lines. Experience of marketing channels is essential. Knowledge of implementing innovative, integrated marketing campaigns which can add to the value CBRE brings throughout each client journey is important.
Success in this role rests on the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously by providing excellent account management skills. A desire for learning is important as well as the ambition to provide world class service to the wider Marketing team.


CBRE’s go-to-market strategy is to continue to develop an issues/solutions-led approach, as the firm seeks to provide its clients with insight around major issues affecting their businesses and the support to solve them.   Marketing plays a crucial role in this by instigating and managing end-to-end campaigns that start in the media and digital space with brand building around key issues, through to developing relevant and timely content for relationship building in the boardroom which result in generating profitable and sustainable revenue.

Stakeholder Management

• Support relationships with all service line contacts, to become a trusted partner able to contribute to the effective implementation of marketing plans
• Understand the positioning for each service line
• Personify excellence in account management skills, ensuring each stakeholder interaction is first class and beyond expectation
• Demonstrate excellent response skills at all time
• Execute all tactics efficiently and with an eye for detail and continuous improvement

Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Support the execution of an annual programme of service line-specific client campaigns from a single marketing and communications plan to assist the service line teams hold relevant and timely conversations with clients, targets, referrers and strategic partners, to deepen relationships and grow the business
• Work with the senior Marketing Business Partners  to identify exceptional client outcomes to which marketing content and channel contact points can contribute
• Project manage marketing campaigns which translate client objectives into marketing tactics
• Absorb industry knowledge and increase business understanding and the results of previous activity to refine recommendations to the business
• Ensure all marketing campaigns add value at each stage of the client journey and reinforce CBRE’s brand, sector and service line expertise


• Understand  brand  positioning including all visual identity, adherence and consistency, key messaging, creative expression, tone of voice, imagery and other expressions that develop brands and build equity


• Understand the opportunity afforded by social and digital channels, including web presence, SEO optimised quality content and client journeys
• Integrate digital into all campaigns, working to identify opportunities where digital can replace other tactics

Campaign Management

• Contribute to the execution of  a commercially focused, value-adding programme of integrated marketing campaigns, working closely with the Central Marketing Functions to raise profile and deliver revenue, while presenting a united and efficient marketing service to the business


• Ensure that the implementation of all activity is co-ordinated efficiently and to a consistent standard

Communication – Internal & External

• Check that internal communications are aligned to Marketing Plans
• Ensure that  PR activity is aligned to Marketing Plans
• Promote the importance and capabilities of the Marketing function to internal clients and stakeholders and act as an ambassador for the function internally and externally



• Multi-channel marketing experience required
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm to stimulate creativity, lateral-thinking and positivity in all interactions
• Real Estate understanding desirable

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant marketing experience or qualification
• Proven track record of effective project management
