Marketing Director - Middle East, Africa & South Asia - Global Fintech Brand

Dubai, UAE - 441,000/600,000 AED

Now, this role features at one of the world's most prolific and well known fintech brands. Starting out as a retail based product, the brand has revolutionised the world of money transferring and are now the leaders with digital. So, with over 200 offices' globally and a marketing team across the globe, made up of over 70 people, they are looking for their next Marketing Director to run the operation in Dubai.

With two very well put together products (Retail & Digital) this role will focus on both and how to develop strategy across acquisition & retention based marketing. As it's a regional role, building out the brand presence in each market is going to be a big part of what you do. You'll be providing, strategy, leadership and direction in the creation of these powerful marketing campaigns!

So, with this in mind, you'll have a team to support you but that also means managing the division from the top and working closely with the Managing Director of the region. Your team will be around 5/6 specialists operating into different regions, it's their job to look after the day to day activity and manage the agencies on the activation of campaigns. Now, what you'll be doing is supporting their development and getting the most out of them individually and as a team.

There are quite a few different initiatives run by this brand (as you can imagine) whether it be a push towards their digital product or their latest partnership with a major football team. You'll find your brain will be tested in areas of creative, media, branding, etc. giving you the opportunity to oversee all output from the marketing division. As you'd expect, you'll have a nice marketing budget to play around with and it'll be your job to define what the plans are and the strategic direction used to get the best ROI.

But, let's not forget, this is a senior role within a team that have grown significantly over the last 12/18 months and this role is again part of the journey to success in the MEASA region! There is obviously a lot more to the role, but let's discuss that further.
