Cath Kidston is the Home of Modern Vintage; Cath founded her first store in 1993, selling floral ironing board covers, and what a long way we have come since then! Our company has developed into a much-loved quintessentially British lifestyle brand with a global, multi-channel presence, which continues to grow year on year. We brighten up the lives of our customers with our unique, colourful and witty prints and our fresh take on design, all of which are conceived by our very own Creative team.
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join support our Marketing function by planning and executing campaign-driven marketing across our retail function. You will be involved in the marketing for new store openings, and the relocation of current stores, as well as working with outstanding retail teams to ensure they understand and buy in to the marketing approach you are taking.

  • Support the Cath Kidston UK retail business by
    • Planning and executing a campaign-driven marketing plan across key stores and towns including events and customer ‘moments’ to drive footfall, sales and brand engagement
    • Actively seeking new opportunities in the UK to engage existing and potential customers with our brand
    • Bringing the seasonal campaign messages to life for customers in store
    • Briefing in and producing graphics materials and POS to support the business needs
    • Developing relationships and communicating regularly and effectively with shopping centre and local BID partners to ensure the best visibility for the brand
    • Seeking marketing opportunities at a local level to drive brand awareness and customer engagement
    • Cascade marketing plans to Retail Teams in order to gain understanding and buy in
  • Support the opening and relocation of Cath Kidston stores with local events and marketing activations designed to drive footfall and conversion
  • Briefing POS and print materials to support projects, ensuring it is on brand and high quality
  • Working with other key functions within the Marketing function to ensure synergy of approach; delivery of brand message and maximum budgetary impact (e.g. Creative, Social Media, VM, Comms)
  • Keeping marketing calendars, budgets and planners up to date to ensure consistency

  • Highly flexible, comfortable working with ambiguity, frequently changing timeframes and short deadlines.
