Job Description

Marketing Communications Specialist, Cambridge -

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with an established and well-renowned software organisation based in Cambridge. As Marketing Communications Specialist, you'll use your skills to create compelling written material and multimedia which explain the software and, most importantly, encourage market-leaders to purchase.

You'll use a range of communication approaches while working within various business functions within the company, helping you to deliver different delivery styles and work with different contacts outside of the company!

Planning and developing messaging will be a key part of the position, along with creating a flow of content to support campaigns and events. You'll use multimedia to deliver the content you've created, and work on the maintenance and development of the company website.

You'll need to be consistent and have a good eye for detail, as your written communications will always need to have the same look and feel to them, especially as you'll be working in collaboration with the graphic designer.

So, what skills and experience will you need to succeed? Experience within science/technology/software will be advantageous, alongside a degree in a similar discipline, but this is by no means essential.

Superb writing skills are a must, along with an eye for design, and some experience of web and multimedia work. Your personality will count for a lot, so you'll be dynamic and determined, committed to developing your potential.

If you've been ticking boxes as you've read, this could be just the position for you. It's an ideal opportunity to join a well-respected and thriving company!

This role would be most applicable to candidates travelling from areas of Cambridgeshire and the wider region, including Cambridge, Histon, Papworth Everard, Newmarket, Hardwick, Sawston, and Cottenham.

For registration purposes, please could you let us know where you are currently based or which locations you are considering as well as your required salary and notice period.

Please upload a Microsoft Word version of your CV where possible, excluding textboxes or images, as this can affect the consultant's job matching process and therefore your details may not be picked up for a role.
