The Marketing Campaigns Consultant is being offered on either a permanent or 12 month fixed term contract. Sitting in the General Insurance area of the team, the main responsibility of the role is to develop and create recommendations to deliver against a campaign brief, using subject matter expertise to manage and execute integrated multi media campaigns that meet strategic and business objectives.

Job Specification
  • Project manage the end to end campaign process and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on campaign delivery.  Identify and mitigate risks and issues and ensure mitigation plans are in place to ensure campaigns are delivered to plan.
  • Collaborate with channel owners to obtain engagement, input and expertise to develop integrated plans that meet business objectives.  Own and manage the execution of the campaign and coordinate activity with channel owners to ensure it is delivered on time, to quality and regulatory standards and to budget.
  • Manage, maintain and deliver all relevant marketing collateral including literature, brochures, direct marketing and webpages as part of campaign activity as well as BAU to ensure it is delivered on time, to quality standards and on budget.
  • Work closely with the Proposition team to understand business objectives in order to produce, recommend and ensure signoff for effective marketing plans. Develop and execute integrated campaigns that meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with third party suppliers ensuring they deliver on time, to agreed standards and to budget.  Support the Marketing Campaign Manager to conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure maximum return on investment is achieved.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the business to ensure communication and planning takes place in relation to campaigns, in particular sales and the internal communications teams.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Activity Analyst to ensure all channel campaign activity is analysed in a timely manner and key learnings are captured, collated and shared.
  • Adopt a culture of test and learn to drive continuous improvement and keep up to date with marketing techniques making recommendations on opportunities, supported by clear rationale
  • Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that they know what is expected, are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential.
  • Deliver short term/one off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager. 

 

Person Specification

Essential

Experience of project managing and delivering multi-media integrated campaigns

Successful track record of engaging key stakeholders

Experience in managing suppliers and conducting reviews  

Desirable

Experience of marketing Life and General Insurance products and the regulatory environment.

 

Qualifications/Other

Educated to degree level or equivalent, or a relevant qualification such as CIM or IDM Diploma or equivalent
