Marketing Campaign and Data Analyst

Job Title: Marketing Campaign and Data Analyst
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £28,508 to £30,986 per annum
Job Published: February 08, 2018 14:37

Job Description

As our new Marketing Campaign and Data Analyst, you will play a leading role in how we shape our marketing and recruitment campaigns.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Campaigns and Digital, your work will have a direct impact on how we tell our exciting story to potential students, as we seek to compete in an increasingly competitive market through personalised content.

As part of our growing Campaigns Team, you will produce insightful surveys and analyse datasets to underpin strategic decision-making around campaign investment, website architecture and creative design. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of analyses on a student’s journey, from their first interaction with us through to enrolment.

What we’re looking for

You should be familiar with marketing campaigns and user research, so not just a pure statistician. You’ll need to be as comfortable delving into Google Analytics as you are running focus groups with students. You’ll need to have a good understanding of digital advertising and the different metrics used to measure impact as well as excellent interpersonal and qualitative analyses skills.

What you’ll get

Responsibility and a competitive package. We’ll be looking to you for advice and recommendations on all of our campaign activity, from financial investment through to creative output. The role also benefits from a competitive salary of £28,508 - £30,986, and 32 days’ annual leave.

About Us

You will be joining an ambitious Marketing and Communications team, responsible for attracting students to study with us at a hugely exciting period in the Birmingham City University story. We are a major part of the transformation of Birmingham, with a £260m investment in two superb campuses right at the heart of this great city. With a new and ambitious Vice-Chancellor in post, alongside a high profile Chancellor, Sir Lenny Henry, there has never been a better time to be part of Birmingham City University.
