Marketing Assistant - Professional Services

This role sits across all of the company's specialisms, so you will be constantly busy, and engaged in positioning the brand as the firm of choice and raising the profile of the partners and their practice areas.
About the role:
This role covers all aspects of marketing, with a particular emphasis on events, assisting in business development activity, CRM/database management, competitor intelligence, marketing collateral/content and input into proposals.
You will be involved in the following:
-Events management - both internal and external and being the key point of contact for delegates, handling guest lists, invitations, RSVP progress.
-Researching companies and sectors to create and maintain a specific target list for the Business Development team. Creating research packs for partners.
-Assisting in developing target groups through segmentation within CRM system, for effective external communications.
-Updating contacts and marketing lists.
-Distributing events invitations, online and offline publication mailings.
-Championing the use of the CRM system internally and being responsible for data change management processing.
-Competitor monitoring, reviewing competitor websites and local press to enable local teams to keep abreast of their campaign and event activity.
-Evaluating and sharing competitor performance and applying learning to the firm's marketing projects.
-Supporting the development of marketing collateral (invites, alerts, PR, presentation material).
-Assisting with proposal developments and amendments for review by marketing manager.
-At least 1 years' experience in a full-mix B2B marketing role.
-Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in Marketing or another business related subject.
-Marketing experience within accounting or another professional services background would be ideal (not essential).
-An events background would beneficial, as this will make up a significant part of the role.
-CRM experience is strongly preferred.
-Excellent time management skills.
-Able to work on your own initiative.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Detail orientated and meticulous.
-Flexible approach and willing to work outside core hours for company events.
