The role of the Marketing and Internal Communications Officer is to support the success of the UUK events team by delivering engaging and effective marketing output for national higher education conferences and other Universities UK stakeholder engagement and political events. This will include ensuring a strong presence for events on the Universities UK website and social media pages, preparing copy, working with external partners such as conference supporters, building campaign email lists and assisting with other event logistics including on the day.
As UUK enters its next phase with a new strategic plan and vision for the organisation, the successful candidate will work in partnership with the Head of Events and Engagement to manage the ongoing review and development of the internal communications and engagement strategy and be responsible for the communications channels that deliver content to the internal audiences. The successful candidate will usually spend approximately 80% of their time focused on the marketing side of the role.
