This role provides an opportunity for a talented PR, Marketing and Communications professional to play a central role in some of the most innovative strategic developments in UK higher education landscape.
Located in the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Engagement, the post holder will develop and lead the implementation of a PR, communications and marketing programme to support the Directorate’s strategic objectives. The Directorate’s diverse responsibilities include developing and managing a fast-growing growing Science and Innovation Park, a Business Gateway to provide an easy route to University expertise, programmes of innovation support, alumni relations, supporter development, professional research support, impact local growth and partnership development, as well as a vibrant public arts programme. Our ‘New Keele Deals’ with local partners around culture, business, health (and other areas to come) articulate our strong commitment to making a difference in our local communities, and will be one of the key areas of focus for this role.
Supported by a Communications and Marketing Officer and Project Assistant, the successful candidate will work with the Director and leadership team in Research, Innovation and Engagement, whilst benefiting from a line management relationship with the Director of Marketing and Communications.
