Marketing and Campaigns Manager
Home Based (with the ability to travel and work flexibly)
Circa £45,000 per annum
England Athletics (EA) has a fantastic opportunity for a marketing specialist to provide maternity cover for our Marketing and Campaigns Manager, and play a leading role in the achievement of EA’s strategic objectives
Athletics and running is an incredible sport. The aspirations, motivations and ambitions of the individuals are as diverse as the communities that are all involved in the sport. EA is on a mission to grow opportunities for everyone to experience athletics and running, and to enable them to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be an expert in developing and executing campaign strategies and overseeing advertising and media briefs based on a detailed understanding of the target audience. Demonstrable experience in using digital marketing and social media to drive growth will be essential. On top of this digital expertise, the successful candidate will excel in developing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the public, charitable and commercial sectors.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have a strong track record in developing successful, innovative solutions to challenging marketing problems on a limited budget. A strong insight-led approach to inform marketing plans will be critical and an ability to lead and influence internal and external behaviour change.
The ability to travel and work flexibly is an integral part of the role. The Head Office for England Athletics is in Birmingham, but travel will be required to other parts of the country in particular London.
If this is something you feel you have the drive, passion and ability to deliver then we would love to hear from you. For an informal chat please contact Matt Birkett, EA Head of Participation, on 07718 394384 or Jen O’Brien on 07880 052151.
