Help to develop the Commercial Strategy and commercial standards in ways that facilitate linking NRW policy priorities and strategic objectives, ensuring a collaborative approach
Strategically manage, plan, review and ensure the delivery of specific elements of the NRW Commercial Strategy and deliver best practice in commercial and sales contract management across NRW.
Provide commercial advice on governance and the application of the relevant rules and legislation to all staff undertaking commercial activity within the organisation, ensuring that appropriate skills are developed and applied, and that performance is managed effectively.

Qualifications and Skills
Professional member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing or working towards it.
Substantial experience as a Senior Commercial practitioner, in the application of knowledge and the specific requirements of the post.
Financial and commercial management, leadership and influencing skills
Expert understanding and application of commercial concepts, practices, governance & techniques, and maintenance of this through a range of interests and peer group interaction.
High level understanding and experience of risk management and commercial accountability
