The role is focussed on driving convertible traffic to our website through a variety of digital marketing methods, helping to translate customer propositions and compelling pricing and offers into the best possible marketing mix. You should be a digital marketing expert, with specific experience in PPC, SEO, Digital Display Execution, Paid Social Media, Affiliates Management and Content Marketing.

Job Context

This new role working within SMARTY reports in to the Lead Direct Response Manager, working closely with the Head of Marketing, and requires someone able to act autonomously to support the specific needs of the brand. The role is focussed on driving convertible traffic to our website through a variety of digital marketing methods, helping to translate customer propositions and compelling pricing and offers into the best possible marketing mix. You should be a digital marketing expert, with specific experience in PPC, SEO, Digital Display Execution, Paid Social Media, Affiliates Management and Content Marketing The role relies on being commercially astute to deliver the optimal return on investment for all paid, earned and owned activity, using insights and analysis to track performance and optimise against it. So we are looking for someone who can display analytical as well as commercial expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities Strategic Planning Develops and/or delivers elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues. 

Building Capability Builds own capabilities and develops the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework; provides specialized training or coaching in area of expertise to others throughout the organization. 

Procurement Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of procurement programs while reporting to senior colleagues. 

Quality Develops new methods, tools and programs for quality assurance while leading developmental initiatives and/or programs within an area of expertise. 

Project Management Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of major projects in order to support the overall project management strategy. 

Marketing Manages the development and/or delivery of a particular area, product or service within the larger marketing strategy. 

Legal Uses legal systems and protocols to perform routine tasks in order to deliver support services. 

Client & Customer Management (Internal) Manage relationships with key internal customers and act as their business partner, while typically using support teams to ensure client satisfaction. 

Contract Management Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of contracts and negotiates service level agreements while planning, coordinating and supervising activities related to major contracts. 

Budgeting & Costing Takes responsibility for delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organization and/or conducts complex analyses on budget progress in other areas while working within established systems. 

Brand Manages the development and/or delivery of a particular area, product or service within the larger brand strategy. 

Technical Skills Policy and procedures Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives. 

Planning and Organizing Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives. 

Brand Management and Development Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on maximizing a brand's impact and market value by managing and developing all aspects of the brand. 

Contract Management Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on monitoring and managing the provision of contracted services. 

Customer and Market Analysis Acts independently using comprehensive knowledge and/or skills to conduct research and analyze data while guiding and training others on how to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments. 

Data Collection and Analysis Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making. 

Costing and Budgeting Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently on costing, budgeting and finance tasks while providing guidance and training to others. 

Commercial Acumen Acts independently to apply comprehensive understanding of the business environment and objectives developing solutions while providing guidance and training to others. 

Negotiation Negotiates without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on how to help the organization by obtaining consensus between two or more internal or external parties who may have different interests.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

You should be a digital marketing expert, with specific experience in PPC, SEO, Digital Display Execution, Paid Social Media, Affiliates Management and Content Marketing 

General Education 

University (First degree)

General Experience 

Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others.

Managerial Experience 

Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
