Job Description

My client is a demand generation marketing agency for technology brands. They solve the headache of generating content that engages audiences, and then keeps them interested with a continuous flow of information. The role:- Creating and delivering layouts and assets for a range of cross-platform digital work - anything from responsive sites, emails, banners, and microsites - Taking direction from the creative director and content and digital teams - Being involved in the full project lifecycle, from brief, user journey development, wireframe creation, original concepts/layouts development through to final delivery - Being involved in application testing and content integration, where required - Adapting to various visual identity systems and working with multiple client brands - Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture and engaging with the wider digital creative community - Communicating and presenting your ideas to different teams, listening to feedback and adapting your work - Participating actively in brainstorm sessions and workshops The ideal candidate: - A creative flair and passion for digital design alongside a technical aptitude - Some industry experience, preferably as part of a design team - The right attitude - being open, flexible, 'can do', willing to learn, keen to develop, enthusiastic, attentive and generally a nice human being to be around - A competent digital design portfolio showcasing digital design concepts and visual executions - An understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures - Adeptness with Adobe Creative Suite packages - Ability to act quickly and be proactive - and to work autonomously - Attention to detail, organised and lots of common sense - The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining accuracy - 'Do it once, do it well' attitude - Can roll up sleeves, and get on with it - The ability to be client-focused - Strong written and verbal communication skills - The ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments - The ability to think through a design solution and talk about how you arrived at it
