We are a highly successful, US-headquartered global confectionery business with a UK based international office. The UK International Commercial Sales and Marketing team, together with support functions, control business within all international markets outside of The Americas and Canada. The international business has achieved exceptional sales and profit growth over the last four years; 37% growth in 2015, 39% in 2016 and is on track to deliver a further 20% growth this year. This success is the result of investment and drive in product innovation and distribution through targeted new markets, supported by a substantial above-the-line marketing spend all delivered by a small, intensely passionate, high performance team.
As a result of this continued, strong performance, we are looking to invest in further strengthening our commercial team with the appointment of an exceptional International Marketing Manager who will report to the Vice President of Global Marketing (New York based) and work closely with the
UK General Manager and International Regional Directors.
Your key responsibilities will be to deliver budgeted sales and profit results through the strategic development and implementation of brand activities using all elements of the brand marketing mix (including TV advertising) in key strategic markets within the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia, which are managed through a network of appointed distributors.
You will also manage the development and launch of all NPD including our licensing brands and a brand/packaging design team of three to ensure business objectives are met. This is a truly cross functional role both internally and externally where you can make a real difference in managing an exciting and fun portfolio of children’s confectionery brands.
We are seeking to appoint a graduate calibre individual who has strongly developed their FMCG marketing career managing large food, drink or non food brands within the UK market and/or including international markets. Currently working at Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager level you are looking to take a step up in your career to Marketing Manager level with a broader responsibility on the international stage.
To qualify for this role you will have gained a broad range of modern FMCG experience and skills including all elements of the marketing mix and can demonstrate a clear track record of successful brand growth achievement.
