Our client is one the North Wests biggest and brightest FMCG businesses, a hugely successful operation with Category leading products and ambitious growth plans. An opportunity for an experienced and success driven Category Executive has arisen within their Category Management Function.
Reporting into the Category Controller the role of Category Executive is responsible for developing key customer partnerships in order to deliver first class insights that drive a competitive advantage for the business. In addition you will be responsible for delivering a category management and merchandising service to your strategic customers ensuring that category and shopper insights evolve into deliverable in-store executions. In support of the Category Controller you will input into the range review process from presentation to implementation in addition to making actionable recommendations to retail partners by utilising both category and shopper data insight.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of commercial, marketing or category experience gained in an FMCG setting, experience gained in a UK market is essential. You will be of graduate calibre with a track record of delivering results in a highly focused commercial environment. You must have strong presentation and commercial skills and be proficient with continuous data to deliver actionable insight.
