One of the best know FMCG companies is looking for a Brand Manager to head up one of its most popular portfolios. This role will look after one of key categories which provides a good chunk of revenue for the client.

The role

One of the best know FMCG companies is looking for a Brand Manager to head up one of its most popular portfolios. This role will look after one of key categories which provides a good chunk of revenue for the client.

You will be managing the brand development and strategy amongst industry professionals as well as working with the regional teams to provide input into the overall brand guidelines. The role will manage all of the key touchpoint both above and below the line as well as online and offline assets.

The role will include in store activity which will include sampling and working with the shopper teams to help provide branding guidelines. There will be elements of some analytics and working alongside the insight team you will make sure that all of the branding is backed up with industry insight.

You will be liaising with internal stakeholders that will include the marketing and sales team, insight and the more technical parts of the organisation. There will also be responsibility for the external agencies and making sure that they are briefed and managed accordingly.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:

  • Strong brand management experience from within a blue chip FMCG organisation
  • Experience of marketing to industry professionals
  • A good portfolio of multi channel marketing collateral
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Good influencing and persuasion skills
  • Previous experience of managing agencies is essential
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation
