We have an interesting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Engagement team.
Blind Veterans UK is the national charity helping blind ex-Service men and women lead independent and fulfilling lives. We offer blind veterans access to the highest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss.
As part of the organisation’s integrated marketing and communications approach the Regional Marketing and Communications (Marcomms) Executive will:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans that engage beneficiaries, volunteers, supporters and create partnerships at a local level.
- Work closely with operational, fundraising and volunteering colleagues, at a local level, to increase awareness, understanding and consideration among target audiences in different region and communities.
- Achieve/surpass marketing targets.
- The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a fast- moving charity where effective matrix management and teamwork across divisions is pivotal. The job holder may be required to travel within the UK on a regular basis.
You will use a high level of interpersonal and communication skills on a regular basis to influence decision making by others. We need you to be a skilled communicator who is able to engage others in a friendly and confident manner and who has the ability to successfully manage stakeholders of mixed capabilities and experience.
In return, we offer competitive conditions of service and a conducive environment to excel and develop.
To apply, please send your up to date CV and Supporting Statement of not more than 500 words to email@example.com outlining how your knowledge, skills and experience meet the person specification.
Please note only applicants who submit a CV with a Supporting Statement will be considered.
