About The Social Media and Content Agency

This social media and content agency is a multiple award winning, fast growing and ambitious communications group with a global reach based in Central London and they are looking for a new Head of Social. As Head of Social, you will be working for a dynamic, collaborative and successful business that places an emphasis on entrepreneurial spirit. The larger group is made up of 70+ people and the social media and content arm works with the social media departments of well-known brands similar to McDonald's, Aldi and Boeing.

Based in modern and vibrant offices, you'll be able to make able to make a real difference to household brands within the content and social media team.

About The Head of Social Role

As Head of Social, you'll be working at Associate Director level and leading on some of the agency's most important clients.

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Social:

  • Lead on strategy to devise creative and engaging social campaigns for clients.
  • Attract new business and maintain current client relations.
  • Manage organic and paid social campaigns for clients.
  • Manage client budgets ensuring profitability for all accounts.
  • Run agency marketing events and network externally.
  • Line management of other employees in the social and content team.

About The Successful Head of Social

If you are currently a Head of Social or have extensive marcomms experience, then this could be a great career move to a progressive and ambitious agency.

Desired Skills and Competencies of the Head of Social:

  • Ideally 5-10 years of agency experience in relevant industries.
  • Experience of working with blue-chip clients in FMCG industry.
  • A passion for social with extensive experience in organic and paid social.
  • Driven and ambitious for both themselves and their clients.
  • Experience of building and developing new relationships through new business.
  • Management experience and the ability to lead by example.

The Head of Social will be offered a highly competitive salary paying up to £85,000 depending on experience, excellent company benefits and industry-leading career progression opportunities.
