WHAT'S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?
As an experienced PR professional you will work as part of the global marketing team and play an important role in understanding our consumers and how to engage with them. Working with the Director of PR & Social and international colleagues you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a world class PR programme across all markets that will help us achieve our ambition of becoming a best loved brand.
Passionate and knowledgeable about a variety of sports and incredibly well connected, you understand how the press works, what resonates with different segments of the media and what is important for sports fans. With this knowledge and experience you will ensure the delivery of market leading campaigns, events and opportunities to drive awareness, engagement and adoption of our product.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE? % OF ROLE
Deliver a brilliant basics press office function out of the UK and be part of our global newsroom approach - 10%
Drive PR strategy and publishing plan, step up our proactive PR campaigns and shape the news agenda through speaker opportunities, thought leadership, events and experiential - 15%
Work with local teams and activate key global brand moments that create buzz around our vision, our licensed sport and our product by landing key stories - 10%
Support new market launches - 10%
Identify, manage and activate PR & content opportunities with Brand Ambassadors - 5%
Manage crisis, issues and opportunities with key stakeholders - 5%
Monitor, track and report on our PR activities - 5%
Manage agencies with the Director of PR & Social - 5%
Manage PR budgets with Director of PR & Social - 5%
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS? SKILL LEVEL (OUT OF 4)
Excellent sports knowledge, news sense, creativity and editorial planning with strong writing skills - 4
Proven ability in campaign planning - 3
Experience across full PR toolkit – event management, press junkets, stunts, experiential, speaker opportunities - 4
Experience in launching new or innovative products or services within an international environment, balancing global strategy with local needs - 3
Ability to thrive in an incredibly fast paced, and collaborative international environment with unique culture (we have a start up mentality whilst being part of a global organisation) -4
Previous experience managing sport for a: sport, digital, mobile, media, entertainment, lifestyle or brave FMCG brand (e.g. Red Bull) -3
DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?
- 7-10 years PR experience
- Degree level (or equivalent) education in communications, journalism, or a related subject
- Experience working in an international environment/global role
- Line management experience
